Meet Michael

RYT-200 - LMT #23043

My yoga journey began in 2010.  I had been curious to try yoga for years, but too scared to try it.  I was not flexible at all and didn't feel like I fit the image of what yoga "was".  But one day I finally worked up the courage to wander into a class and loved it!

I dabbled on and off for a number of years, enjoying the practice, but also feeling a lot of frustrations and even suffering a couple small injuries in the process.  And then I met a teacher that made all the difference for me!  Someone who took the time to make sure I was practicing safely and finding the proper alignment for my own individual body.  And my enjoyment for yoga became a passion after that!  My teacher inspired me to want to help do the same for others.

My teaching style is to help guide each individual student to find what will best help them through their yoga practice.  I draw upon my experience as an anatomy instructor and massage therapist to help educate my students on what is going on in their bodies and how the work we are doing in yoga is helping to enact changes.
